Reflecting

Hey guys!!

Well this week has been a mixed week but more positive then negative!
Ive been coming down with a cold all week and having been feeling that good but have still stuck to plan where I possibly could!
Today had been fab, went to the gym with hubby and father-in-law and did a 2 hour workout then hit the steam room and sauna to try and sweat the cold out!
So heres hoping for a loss, even a small one, tomorrow!

Plan of attack!!

Hey guys!

Im all fired up for the new weighing week as normal, food diary is in hand and there are no social events to stop me having a good loss this week!
Today has been a good day, only 11 syns consumed so within my limits.
Breakfast was my usual branflakes and milk, I had 2 hobnobs (3.5 syns each) with my 10am cuppa, lunch was 3 satsumas as I wasnt feeling well and didnt fancy much and dinner was salad, chicken and slimming world chips, my fave dinner, with 4 tbsp of low fat salad cream (4 syns).
Tomorrow evening im off to the gym and then again over the weekend so things are looking good for the coming week and fingers crossed!

My inner fat girl!

Hey guys!

Well this weekend hasnt been to plan and I am ready to confess my syns (haha) to you all.
We went to a friend of my in-laws yesterday and ended up staying for dinner, there was 12 of us there in total and the lovely lady of the house cooked us chilli, nachos, enchiladas and fajitas. All really gorgeous tasty food, not so good for a slimming worlder.
At the moment I feel like im split in two. Theres the new Michelle. The woman that makes good choices, stays within her syns limits, goes to the gym and who lost 3lb last week BUT ever so often the old Michelle appears, my inner fat girl, the one whose happy to indulge, used to overeat and not exercise.
Yesterday that old Michelle appeared and ate perhaps a little more than she should of done but today new Michelle came back and headed to the gym to try and repair the damage.
I know this is a battle I will probably always fight but I also know that as the new Michelle grows stronger, the old Michelle grows weaker and will hopefully one day be just a memory.
So I will continue to fight to silence my inner fat girl and its back to the gym again tomorrow!

Feeling the benefits!

Hey guys!!

Well today has been another good day, only 11 syns consumed and still on track for a loss on Monday I hope!
Its only been to weeks but I can really feel the benefits of eating healthy again already!
I have bags of energy for one thing. Over Christmas when I was indulging in the junk food I really did feel crap looking back. All I wanted to do was sleep. A true testament to "You are what u eat", I was eating crap do I felt crap.
My skin, hair and nails have all improved. I suffer from spotty breakout but my skins been alot clearer, my hair is soft and shiny and my nail are stronger and healthier looking, and thats all in 2 weeks! Whats not to like?!!
I dont even feel tempted to cheat or binge on bad food, my motivation is 100% at the moment and I know im getting closer to my goals everyday even if they feel like a long way off at the moment. I'll get there in the end. This is a marathon not a sprint and I will enjoy the journey of self discovery on the way to my ultimate goal.

Still going strong!

Hey guys!!

Well im pleased to say im still going strong, ive been 100% on plan and I feel fab!!
Today started with Branflakes and milk. I had 2 chocolate digestives with my 10am coffee (yes I am allowed them, only 4  syns each).
I also snacked on satsumas and grapes through the morning.
Lunch was a chicken salad with eggs, lettuce, cucumber and onion with 2 tbsp of low fat salad cream (2 syns).
Dinner is mushroom and onion omlette with Slimming World chips and beans. Yummy!
I dont know if its in my head but my work trousers seem to fit me better already and I have loads of energy!
So feeling good, only 10 syns consumed today and hopefully heading for another good loss on Monday!

New day! New week!

Hey guys!

So today is the start of my new weighing week and im ready to make another loss happen!!
Breakfast was branflakes (my healthy B choice) with semi skimmed milk (my healthy A choice) then todays meals ive already got planned out. Lunch is speed soup followed by grapes and a satsuma and then dinner will be a chicken salad with 2 tbsp of low fat salad cream (2 syns).
Im also heading to the gym tonight for my first workout of the week!

First loss of the year!!

Hey guys!!

Well today is weigh in today and im very pleased to report a 3lb loss!! Im chuffed! Ive really put in some hardwork this week and it shows that its paid off and im ready for the week ahead!!
Ive given myself an aim of fitting into a gorgeous dress that ive found (see below) and I want it to be in a good few sizes smaller then I am now. I know I'll get there and im feeling soo motivated!
So heres to the coming week, starting with a gym session tomorrow!

The only way is up!!

Hey guys!

Well the past few days and my fresh start for the new year are off to a great start!
12 syns yesterday and 11 syns today and im feeling fab!
Ive been for a gym session tonight and burnt about 300 calories, came home, had a shower and then tucked into a yummy chicken salad.
I had my health MOT at the gym last weekend and despite my cholesterol, blood pressure and blood sugar levels all being fine my BMI and measurements were definitely not but I am going to let it bring me down?! CERTAINLY NOT!! Im doing this to change and everyone has to start somewhere and now I know my starting point.
So the only way is indeed up! Im feeling positive and good about everything im doing and ive even got trips to the gym planned over the Friday, Saturday and Sunday!
Bring on the scales on Monday!!

Change will do you good!

Hey Guys!!

Well ive definitely made some positive changes in the first few days of the new year.
The first was on New Years Day, instead of sitting around with a hang over, I went and joined the gym with hubby and my father-in-law! My sister-in-law is also a member so she said she would be my gym buddy.
Today we went and bought new gym supplies, sports bottles, trainers etc and then to round the day off ive made a batch of Slimming World speed soup which is full of free and super free food and apparently helps speed up weightloss abit. Im going to freeze it in individual tubs so that I can take it to work next week for my lunch.
Tomorrow I have my "Health MOT" at the gym where they check your blood sugar levels, cholesterol,  BMI and so on and give you the full report to keep, you then have another one in 3 months time to see what improvement there is. Obviously im aware that the results of tomorrow arent going to be very good but atleast it gives me my starting point and I can go from there.
So all plans are moving in the right direction and all is positive!!
