Changing direction

Hey guys!

Im sorry for the couple of weeks silence.
Ive been having some issues and tbh ive fallen completely off the wagon. Im angry at myself  but in true Michelle style im drawing a line under it and starting a fresh new chapter, yes I know again, but I swore that I will never give up and I never will.
However this time im changing direction and focusing on being healthy and giving my body what it needs. So as of tomorrow I will be having cereal or overnight oats, my new addiction (thanks again Kat), for breakfast, then for lunch I will be having a smoothie/juice whizzed up in my Nutribullet gadget and then dinner will be one of the many slimming world recipes i know or something simple like chicken salad. Simple and healthy.
Also, as of next week, I will be cycling too and from work. The bus prices keep going up and up and I thought what better way to get fit AND save money then cycling?!
Hubby is doing his bodybuilder/weightlifters plan too so we're both encouraging eachother and heading in the right direction.

So heres to a fresh start and new changes!

Making choices

Hey guys!

Well this week has is going well so far and ive just finished today off with 13 syns! I stayed the same in at weigh in last week which, given my situation mentioned in my last post, I was ok with and pleased that there wasnt a gain.

Ive started a "syn tin" which is a tub of low syn treats that I can if I get the need for a sweet treat. So far the contents are-
● Freddos (5 syns)
● Curly Wurly (6 syns)
● Tesco white chocolate and strawberry cereal bars (4 syns)
● Cookies and cream Kitkat (5.5 syns)

And so far its still pretty full so I've even exercised good self control and not eaten the whole lot! It may not sound alot but its a big deal for me as the old Michelle would of just binged. Now to just keep hubby out of it.....lol

Well on Friday im off out for a Chinese buffet as my work colleague, Lily, is leaving to go back home to Portugal and we're having a leaving do for her. Usually I would of said "to hell with it" and just thrown the plan out of the window but I really dont want to undo my hard work so far and I weigh in on Saturday morning so I messaged my friend Kat,who is amazing and has lost nearly 7st, and asked her what she would recommend to eat in these situations. She advised to avoid anything in batter, look for things in oyster and black bean sauce and to have stir fried veg to get some free food in too and thats exactly what I intend to do!
So heres hoping for a successful trip to the buffet and a loss on saturday!

Week 3 results and week 4 so far

Hey guys!

Sorry for the silence, life has been manic recently!
Well week 3 went fabulously and I lost another lb giving me my 7lb loss! Half a stone in 3 weeks! Yay!
This week hasnt got off to a good start as my cooker was deemed unsafe so I couldnt use it and have had to live off of convenience food but today all has been sorted and its back to plan tomorrow to try and repair some damage of the past few days, unfortunately this time it was beyond my control. If I do have a gain this week though I will just accept it and move on!
To also try and limit the damage Im off to the gym tomorrow evening for a session, Aquafit on Thursday and then Bodycombat on Friday if I make the list (Ive got to call tomorrow morning).
So thats the plans so far for this week and fingers crossed for a maintain on Saturday or even another lb loss would be good!

Until tomorrow xxx
